On January 25, 2023, the Sharjah Human Resources Department (SHRD) hosted an informative lecture at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry to detail the decentralised departments' hiring process.

The new human resources strategy of the Emirate of Sharjah necessitates this approach. Its stated purpose is to familiarise and instruct the relevant authorities' support services divisions with the methods used by the Sharjah department to recruit applicants and ultimately employ them into available positions.

The Human Resources Department is working to implement all schemes that would achieve the human resources policy stipulated by the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, according to Eng. Omar Khalfan bin Huraimel Al Shamsi, a member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah and the head of the Human Resources Department.
